Marco is known almost in every part of the nation but the audience is unaware that Marco is a part of a violent franchise from Mollywood, till the audience could identify that first film of this franchise, the announcement of the Marco 2. The Marco movie is a trilogy, having further Marco 2 and Marco 3, it’s officially confirmed by the makers.
The first film of this franchise is Mikheal, it was released 6 years ago, in 2019. Mikheal and Marco, both the movies were written and directed by Haneef Adeni, Mikheal movie is also similar to Marco, the violent action scenes and the deadly villain. Marco movie became a blockbuster at the box office, starting with only 80 screens and now the count of screens in the nation has crossed over 500 and Marco made on the budget of Rs 30 crores have earned more than Rs 70 crores at the box office.
Unni Mukundan in a live interview revealed about Marco 2, he disclosed that the plans regarding Marco 2 have already been made. The sources suggest that Marco 2 will be released in the end of 2026 or in the beginning of 2027, as the both Unni Mukundan and Haneef Adeni have their dates of other movies scheduled and after completion of their pending projects they will collaborate for Marco 2 movie. The good news for fans is that Marco 3 will be made and a big name from the Indian Film Industry will be joining the case for it.
