Pooja Hegde has made a comeback in Bollywood after six years with the Deva movie,she has been getting appreciation for her work in the northern belt of the nation but the Telugu audience is disappointed with her as she in interview addressed her previous film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as a Tamil language film.
Pooja Hegde has not given any official statement regarding the same but she is facing a huge criticism for her statement on Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Pooja in her recent interview revealed that she feels proud of the Retro movie. Pooja Hegde said,”I am proud of all my films, but Retro is the film I am most proud of. I love everything about it. I love every bit of Retro, be it the way we shot it or created it. The team is full of energy on the set. My character is well-designed. I am telling this without even watching the full movie as it is still in the editing process“.
Pooja Hegde further disclosed that she received the role in the Retro movie due to the reference of director Kartik Subbaraj, he liked the performance of Pooja in the Radhe Shyam movie. There are a lot of expectations from the Retro movie, the audience is waiting to see Suriya along with Pooja Hegde sharing the same screen.
Retro movie revolves around the gangster, who changes after falling in love. Retro movie will be released on 1st May 2025.
